Who should be an admin in ParentPulse?

Modified on Tue, 19 May at 2:03 PM

One of the greatest benefits of ParentPulse is the ability to share insights across your school by inviting colleagues to become account administrators. However, deciding who should take on these admin roles isn't always obvious.

This guide offers common recommendations for ParentPulse administrators and provides tips on tailoring user permissions to fit your team's specific needs. Building a strong admin team to manage and oversee your school data will ensure smooth operations and more insightful analysis.

Account Admin Suggestions

Head of School

Keep them informed by granting access to the Dashboard so they can monitor data and trends in real time. This visibility helps them share informed updates with the board and make strategic, school-wide decisions.

HR Director

If you are using the Employee Pulse module, allow them to edit surveys and update survey settings. You can also provide access to the Dashboard and comments to support data analysis and report-building. This access ensures employee feedback is gathered, interpreted, and acted on effectively.

Principal

Consider assigning Master Admin access for a comprehensive view of school-wide insights. If you prefer a more tailored setup, grant only Dashboard and comment-viewing permissions. This helps principals stay aligned with school culture, classroom dynamics, and overall stakeholder sentiment.

Registrar / Admin Assistant

Enable permissions to import, add, or edit respondents across your active modules. This allows them to maintain accurate parent, employee, and student contact information, which is especially helpful during peak update times like the start of the school year.

Communications & Marketing Director

Provide access to the Dashboard and comments so they can review feedback, search for testimonials, and stay connected to community sentiment. If they will be managing direct responses, you can also grant permission to reply to comments. These tools help them strengthen messaging, support branding projects, and highlight positive school stories.

Admissions Director

Allow them to create custom surveys to gather feedback on the admissions process. This ensures your team captures valuable perspectives from prospective families while maintaining alignment with your school’s mission and values.

Athletic Director

Grant access to view and manage comments, particularly those related to sports and physical education. You can also enable custom survey creation for specific projects, such as coaching evaluations or program feedback, to keep athletic programs tuned in to community expectations.

With ParentPulse, your admin structure is completely customizable. Assigning the right permissions ensures each team member has the exact tools they need to turn feedback into action and support your school’s ongoing growth.
