How to Turn on Notifications

Keeping up with parent feedback is essential, but that doesn’t mean you need to keep refreshing your Dashboard all day. That’s where notifications come in! ParentPulse can send you email alerts when new survey responses roll in, ensuring you stay informed—without the constant check-ins.

In this guide, we’ll show you how to enable and customize your notification settings so you receive the updates that matter most to you.

Why Enable Notifications?

We recommend turning on notifications—at least for your first pulse survey cycle—to get a feel for response patterns and submission frequency. If the emails become overwhelming, you can always fine-tune or disable them later. Here’s how different notifications can be useful:

  • Comment Notifications help ensure you (or your designated “air traffic controller”) are actively reading and responding to feedback.
  • Detractor & Promoter Notifications give you a real-time pulse on your most critical feedback—both positive and negative—so you can engage with respondents accordingly.
