What to Expect: Time Management

Modified on Wed, 17 Dec at 11:52 AM

Like any great investment, ParentPulse requires a focused—but manageable—commitment of time to maximize its benefits.

By following our three-step Feedback Loop—Measure, Engage, Act—you can efficiently integrate ParentPulse into your school’s routine while keeping the workload reasonable.

Measure: Setting Up & Maintaining Your Surveys
  • Importing Contacts - At launch and at the start of each school year, expect to spend 15-45 minutes per import ensuring your contact list is up to date.

  • Updating Contacts - On an ongoing basis, minor updates (such as adding or removing parents, students, or employees) take about 2 minutes per record.

  • Creating Pulse Surveys - These recurring surveys happen based on the timeframe you select and every cycle and can take 1-3 hours per cycle to develop and refine.

  • Creating Custom Surveys - If you choose to create additional surveys, plan for 10-60 minutes per survey depending on complexity.

Engage: Responding & Communicating with Your Community
  • Educating Stakeholders - At launch and the beginning of each school year, take 15-45 minutes per year to introduce or reintroduce ParentPulse to your staff and families.

  • Responding to Comments - On a weekly basis, expect to dedicate 15-60 minutes per week to reviewing and addressing survey responses.

  • Scheduling 1-on-1 Meetings - Based on feedback, you may find it beneficial to hold 1-2 hours of meetings per month to address key concerns or insights.

  • Reporting Insights - After each survey cycle, set aside 30-90 minutes per cycle to summarize findings and share them with your team.

Act: Turning Insights Into Action

  • Mining Data & Identifying Action Items - To fully leverage the feedback received, plan for 1-3 hours per 90-day cycle to analyze trends and determine actionable steps.

The time commitment for ParentPulse is designed to be efficient and scalable. By integrating these tasks into your routine, you ensure that feedback is not just collected—but acted upon—to create a stronger, more engaged school community.
