How to Create Quiet Periods for Surveys

Modified on Wed, 14 Jan at 1:32 PM

Our Quiet Periods feature allows you more control over the timing of your survey invitations, ensuring that communications align with your school’s schedule and priorities.

Whether you want to prevent invitations from being sent on weekends, holidays, or specific dates, Quiet Periods give you the flexibility to manage the timing of your surveys.

How to Create Quiet Periods for Surveys

Important Reminders

  • Quiet Periods do not extend your survey timeline
For example, if you’re running a 90-day survey cycle, it will still complete within 90 days. Invitations will be spread across the remaining active days.

  • Pausing surveys for extended breaks
If you need to pause surveys for several consecutive days (e.g., spring break or Christmas vacation), use the Survey Builder to pause the entire survey cycle instead of setting Quiet Periods. This will extend the completion date of your survey.
