If you'd like other team members to have access to survey results – or perhaps you want to task a colleague to manage the platform – it's easy to invite them to ParentPulse!
You can add as many account administrators as you'd like – and you can also control precisely what each administrator can access (or what they can do!).
Here's how to invite your colleagues to join you on ParentPulse:
- Log in to ParentPulse.
- Go to Admins.
- Enter the e-mail address of the administrator you'd like to join ParentPulse
- Select the permissions you'd like to enable for the administrator. If you'd like this user to be a master admin, you can click "Select all" to quickly turn on all permissions. But you can also choose to limit preferences. Here are some possible use-case scenarios:
- Create an account for your registrar and enable just the ability to import or add respondents for the parent, student and/or employee pulse surveys (without providing access to survey results)
- Consider creating an account for your board chair, and provide access to just the dashboard (so they can’t view comments)
- If you’re using our Employee Survey module, you might want to limit dashboard and comment access for that module to just the head of school
- You can also restrict a user's access by demographics. This can work well for schools with multiple divisions or campuses. Perhaps you want your high school principal to only see feedback from parents of high school students? No problem! Read this support article for more info on demographic restrictions.
- Create an account for your registrar and enable just the ability to import or add respondents for the parent, student and/or employee pulse surveys (without providing access to survey results)
- After you've selected permissions, click Send Invitation.
Your colleague's e-mail address will appear under "Pending Invitations." Once they've activated their account (through the link that's e-mailed to them), you'll see them on your active list of administrators. You can add (or remove) admins, or even edit permissions, at any time.
If you ever use our Custom Survey feature to build and deploy one-time surveys, you'll have the option during the survey creation process to add admins for just those surveys. For example, you might create an end-of-season basketball survey, and choose to enable access for that survey for your athletic director.
