The "Drip" Process Works for Our Pulse Surveys

Traditional surveys often fall short of delivering actionable insights. Once-a-year surveys are long, overwhelming, and rarely deliver timely feedback. By the time you receive responses, it’s often too late to act on them effectively.

That’s where ParentPulse steps in. We’ve reimagined the survey process to give you access to real-time, actionable data that helps you improve your school community in the moment.

Our unique “drip” model ensures a steady stream of insights, so you can stay in-tune with your community without waiting for months.

Here’s How It Works:

  • Each survey cycle spans 90 days.

Over the 90-day period, surveys are automatically “dripped” out to respondents. When it’s their turn, they’ll receive an email invitation to complete a survey for your school.

Think of it like turning on a faucet: you let the data flow gradually over 90 days, giving you a consistent pulse of feedback.

Using Sequences? With this feature, you can shorten the survey cycle to meet tighter deadlines. The system will still drip out surveys evenly over the adjusted timeframe.

  • Surveys are randomized and evenly distributed.

ParentPulse ensures a seamless and balanced distribution of surveys by randomly assigning a survey date to each individual in the system. This guarantees that surveys are evenly spaced throughout the 90-day cycle. For parents or guardians of the same student, this means their invitations should arrive at different times, offering a more diverse range of feedback.

To maintain consistency, survey email invitations are sent daily at 11am EST / 8am PST.

  • One survey per person.

Each individual in your system receives only one survey per cycle, even if they have multiple children enrolled.

However, if a parent wants to provide feedback for multiple students, they’ll have the option to answer some questions differently for each child—all in the same survey. No need for separate surveys!

  • Don’t cry too early, don’t rejoice too early.

Since each cycle lasts 90 days, your data will gradually build up to give you a clear and accurate representation of your community’s thoughts.

Benchmarks and Net Promoter Scores may fluctuate during the cycle. Resist the urge to jump to conclusions too early—let the data fully unfold before making assumptions.

Bonus: If you’re using our Employee and/or Student modules, the pulse surveys operate on the same drip process.

With ParentPulse, you don’t have to wait for a once-a-year snapshot. Our drip process keeps you connected, informed, and ready to take action when it matters mostnow. By making feedback continuous and actionable, our pulse surveys empower you to create positive change in your school community throughout the school year.
