How to Deactivate/Activate Respondents

Modified on Wed, 17 Dec at 3:03 PM

Managing your respondent list is an important part of keeping your ParentPulse surveys organized and accurate. Activating or deactivating respondents allows you to control who can participate in surveys at any given time, while preserving the integrity of your data.

When you deactivate a respondent, their historical data is preserved, meaning you can still include it in long-term comparisons. Use our deactivate/activate tool to help you:

  • Add new families who enroll mid-year so they can participate in surveys.

  • Temporarily deactivate families who have opted out or have left your school community.

  • Reactivate respondents who were previously inactive so their input can be included in new survey cycles.
